Magic to Master - Final Beta Tests: V1.8.0
Dear players, as you know, a day ago we already said that the estimated testing and server setup of the game is scheduled to be completed on 2023-01-23. Today we are publishing this news because we are trying to complete the updates and optimisations as fast as possible, to bring Magic to Master closed beta as fast as possible.
Very soon, we will publish an overall progress map. According to this progress map, we will probably spend 2023 with Magic to Master beta. Therefore, we will share our general needs, requirements and planned steps with you shortly.
We tried to share the last steps made in the list below. It was not possible to publish a complete development diary.

Dear Players,
The game is available again. The update pack for today contains the following features and fixes:
Modfications to enhance the game experience:
• Cheaper Bravery Cape in the Item Shop! From now on it costs 5 GD instead of 20 GD!
• The maximum value of the ’defence bonuses’ is 20% (instead of 10%). This modification affects:
o Magical Defence
o Physical Defence
o Staff Defence
o Dagger Defence
o Arrow Defence
o Sword Defence
o Twohand Defence
o Fan Defence
• The level difference in a group is 50 (instead of 30).
• The skills which the players use in invisible mode (by Hiding skill) are not able to cause critical hit from this moment.
• The Shining Armour skill grants 40% defence on lvl 40, and based on it, the values on the skill’s lower level are modified.
• Every class gets one status point after every level up:
o Warrior: +1 Vitality
o Ninja: +1 Dexterity
o Petrun: +1 Intelligence
o Shaman: +1 Intelligence
• 1 Dexterity point grants 10 defence points from now on. The dexterity does not affect the evasion that much.
• The maximum value of the evasion is decreased:
o 45% at Ninjas
o 35% at Petruns, Warriors and Shamans
• The maximum value of the ’power against a given class’ bonuses in the 6th and 7th bonus is 7,5%.
• The players can not cause critical and penetrating hit at the same time.
• The Blessed Armour skill grants double amount of defence.
• The cooldown time of the Healing skill is increased to 20 seconds.
• The Wu Zhein, Minotaur, Naga and Limited sets, the Monster Master and the Monster GrandMaster weapons are tradable after the right kind of Soulbound Remover Scroll usage!
• You can remove the soulbound from the mounts to from now on by the Spiritual Soulbound Scroll!
• Increased health points on every game mode of the Battleground (Last Man Standing: 5 times amount of the basic health, on the other modes: 3 times amount)
Fixes:
• After the teleportation to the WitchQueen map, the beginning position was wrong sometimes. Fixed!
• We have fixed the buff which grants invulnerability at the beginning of the Battleground.

Dear Players,
The update pack for today contains the following features and modifications:
• GOLD DROP HAS BEEN INCREASED! Optimized Gold drop in the game! We have increased the Gold rate on many maps that the game will be more balanced.
•VALUES OF THE LIMITED EQUIPMENTS HAVE BEEN CHANGED! Optimized attack power in the Limited weapons over level 200. There was a wrong formula which grants too high values. This modification affects the Limited weapons on lvl +7, +8 and +9 only. Furthermore we have decreased the values of the skill damage in the Limited accessories, the maximum values of the skill damage in the Limited items is 38% from this time! Of course in spite of the modifications, these weapons have the best values in the game!
• BONUS ADDERS/CHANGERS FOR GOLD! From now on, the Bonus Adders and Changers are available at the General Merchant for Gold! These items are not cheap but this option gives a chance that everybody will be able to acquire the Bonus Adders and Changers without real money payment and Gold Denarius.
•LIMITED EQUIPMENTS FOR GOLD! From now on, the Limited sets are available at the merchants for Gold in game too! Search for the NPCs in the Imperial Palace! These items are expensive because they are the most powerful equipments in the world of the M2M. Our goal is that these sets will be available for everybody and the Gold will have value. If you collect enough Gold, you will be able to buy the most epic sets!
• NO LEVELLIMIT ON THE NAGA MAPS! In the Naga Palace and on the Naga Run, there is not level limit at the drop rate from this moment! This modification affects all the Naga monsters and bosses, e.g. the Naga Queen will drop chest for everybody! Although the characters with the highest levels will not get EXP there (except the 2% on the Naga Run), but they will be able to collect items and Gold for equipments and Bonus Adders/Changers.
• MORE TRADABLE ITEMS! From now on, the Master and GrandMaster Weapons are tradable in normal trade window too (after soulbound removing).
• GOLD FOR THE STONES AND UPGRADE ITEMS! You can sell the stones and all the upgrade items for Gold to the shop NPCs.

The update pack for today contains the following features, modifications and fixes:
New features:
- The Battleground results and the acquired achievements will appear in a tab in the Profil window from now on.
- We have changed the minimap during the Battleground: -You can see the whole Battleground map continuously. -You can make the background of the minimap disappear by an ‘eye’ button in the left corner above.
- The parts of the group panel are movable, you can lock, unlock and move them back to the original position with the help od the right buttons.
Modfications to enhance the game experience:

Cooldown time of the Lightning Summon skill has been increased.

Range of the Black Orb and Fire Strike has been decreased.

From now on, a popup window will inform you if you acquired an achievement.

There is a level limit on the runs and you will not get EXP after these level (but you will get point):
o Wu Zhein Run – lvl 150
o Minotaur Run – lvl 200
o Naga Run – lvl 260 -
If an opponent is selected, then the buffs will affect the buff owner and the selection does not change.

Sword Energy and Blade Energy skill will affect the normal hit but not the skills so the classes will be more balanced.

From now on, you can see the monsters’ level on the local map.

The window at the Wise Monk shows the time remaining until the next skill and status point reset.

Sound effect at the item upgrade.

Battleground fixes:
o the Battleground scoreboard will show the type of the current battle
o icons next to the notifications
o informative messages at the sign up and sign down
o if somebody leaves the battle before its end, (s)he will get -10 karma points
o you can not sign up for the Battleground when neither game modes are available
o if in the Last Man Standing game mode more players survive, then the character who killed the most opponents will be the winner
o the spectator game mode will always be up-to-date (refreshes automatically)
o invulnerability for the reviving players for 10 seconds

o you can order the statistics by several ways
o we have solved that the long names will be visible well on the spectator interface

o in the Last Man Standing, you can create group, but only one player can be the winner
o on the Battleground Lobby interface, you can see the number of the players who are waiting for the battle
o on the loading screen, already 10 players can be visible
o we have increased the time while a player can be disconnected and we try to move a newer character to his place
Fixes:
- We have fixed a bug where the system did not save the defeats and victories on the Power Hunting.
- From now on, you can not sign up for the game modes which are not available.
- We have fixed a bug where a spectator can join the battle like a fighter.
- We have fixed a bug where the teams were not balaced in a battle.
- The scoreboard refreshes automatically.
- We have fixed one of the mechanism of the bosses when they regenerate their HP.
- The movement speed bonuses will always apply.
- It can happen that a long text could not be displayed in the chat window. Fixed!
- You could not activate two „Bigger Storage” bonuses at the same time. Fixed!
- The second hit of the shaman staffs caused damage wrong. Fixed!
- We have fixed a bug where the inventory was not displayed correctly while you were moving it.
- We have fixed the flash of the Character menu. It will flash when you have status and skill points which you can distribute.
- We have fixed a graphic bug in the WitchQueen Empire.
- It could happen that the demon gates restored their health continuously so you could not kill them. Fixed!
- If you did not have enough free slots in your inventory when you cancelled the trade, the items could disappear. Fixed!
- Music in the WitchQueen Empire again!
- We have fixed the Hiding skill that the character’s face will be displayed correctly.
- We have fixed a bug at the Online GM List. It will always be up-to-date from now on.
- We have fixed some quests which appeared on the local map wrong.
- The attack power of the Flames skill will appear correctly from now on.

New quests in the Lost Empire
Modfications to enhance the game experience:
- The cooldown time of the most skills was changed.
- We have changed the attack power of many skills, that the PvP will be more balanced.
- From now on, you can move and lock the parts of the GUI panel.
Fixes:
- If you use more than one similar elixirs at the same time (e.g: small and big green potion), only the most powerful will affect you.
- You could not turn down the music in the Land of the Dead. Fixed.
- From now on, you can buy the Warrior Mystic Axe from the Merchant.
- We have fixed the online GM list which sometimes showed the offline GMs too.
- We have fixed a gap in the Land of the Dead where you could go across the wall without teleportation.
- Earlier you could not choose the „Other” category on the support panel in game. Fixed.
- You can hear the music in the WitchQueen Empire again.
- We have fixed a bug where the cursor got stuck in camera state.
- During the effects knockback and stun, it could happen that the characters became misplaced. Fixed.
- We have solved a problem where the characters could sink into the ground in the Minotaur Stronghold after they teleported to this map.
- On the WitchQueen map, you can get EXP from lvl 1 from now on. (Because you can go to this map from the WolfShaman Forest.)
- When you accepted the reward of a quest and did not have enough free slots in the inventory, an incorrect error message appeared and you can not complete the task. Fixed!
- We have fixed a bug where you could not equip the shoes by dragging, only by right click.
- The item names did not appear when you tried to upgrade them by the button in the inventory. Fixed.
- LEAVE button on the group panel will appear in the right form in every language from now on.
- If somebody changed character, the active messages continued with the new name. From now on, in this case, a new PM window will open.
- We have increased the font size of the welcome texts.
- We have fixed some small texture and graphical bugs, and some localization bugs too. We did not finish the updates. Soon there will be further new features added to the game. Thank you for your bug reports, support and patience. We are counting on you in the future too.

- We have increased the maximum number of the members in a group to 8 and we have modified the group panel that it has enough space on lower resolution too.
- More sounds for the game events
- You can change your targets by key TAB:
Key Tab changes among all the available targets.
Keys Ctrl + Tab will select the player’s own character automatically.
Keys Shift + Tab will select somebody from your allies. - If a property is decreased by an effect, it will be showed in red colour on the character page.
Modfications to enhance the game experience:
- If you open a whisper window from the chat panel, it will get focus immeately.
- The „give up” button will appear in red colour that it will more visible on the quest scrolls.
- The currencies have got tooltip windows.
- The message of item upgrade would be more informative.
- We have modified the health of the monsters on higher maps.
- You can put the emotions to the ability bar from now on.
Fixes:
- Sometimes the damage values of the Flames skill appeared wrongly on the infopanel of the skill. Fixed!
- The guard in the Spider Dungeon will not show wrong window from now on.
- If you buy an item stack, an error occured. Fixed!
- There was a place in the Lost empire where you could fall under the bridge. Fixed!
- We have fixed a rare bug where the new players can use the old and not-transferred characters’ name.
- We have fixed a bug where you could take an item more than once from the Item Shop Store.
- The trade with a shop NPC will be more confortable from now on:
You can drag the item you want to sell anywhere not only to the empty slot
There will be a security question before you buy or sell an item but you can turn off this option.

New features:
- Quick tips appear on the interface to inform you about the current options (e.g.: pick up loot) and how can you use it the quickest.
- We have redesigned the item upgrading process. From now on, you can upgrade your equipments in a more spectacular and simple window. Look at the ’forging’ icon in the inventory window!
- Demonic Messages Event is expected.
Modfications to enhance the game experience:
- We have extended the tooltips in the chat window.
- We have changed the icons of the Black Flame Order and Skulls Order Petrun MagicSword that they will be more visible in the inventory.
- More atmospheric music in the Black Dragon’s hall.
- Monsters on the Quarantine Island will roam on a larger area from now on.
- The profile field is more visible and the cursor will appear if you open the profile editor page.
- You can delete the description from the profile with a button on the character page.
- NPCs on the local maps will show the available quests. If you click on them, you can read about the given quest.
- We wrote above the tips on the loading screens: TIP, that everybody can see what these texts are.
- Testing of the Event interface.
- The maximum distance between the camera and the character is shorter from now on that the visualization would be more optimized.
- If a player blocked the whisper option, the player who write him/her will be informed about the blocking.
- We split the Land of the Dead map into two by a wall. You can reach the another side of the map through the holes in the wall.
- More optimized skill effects that the load would be lesser on your computer.
- The land od the Dead is more detailed.
- We have modified the shining of the armours.
- 1 VIT point grants 150 health points to you from now on.
Fixes:
- We have removed the resolution 640x480 because the user interface is not useable in this resolution.
- From now on at group invitation, the level of all the group members mean not only the group leader’s. So you can create group above +-30 level, depend on all the group members.
- If you give up a quest, the monsters will not give the ques titems anymore.
- ’Command for the Patrols’ quest is fixed!
- We have fixed the character window, from now on every properties will be showed at the first opening too.
- Crown next to the properties will show the tooltip always.
- In the text at the TransportShip Captain on the tutorial map, there was a wrong text. We have removed it.
- whisper window will show always if the chat partner is offline.
- You will not lose 1% EXP if you die in PvP.
- The new stones will modify the values of the skills correctly.
- There are character name collison. Fixed!
- There were quests which appeared at the available quest list wrongly. Fixed!
- We have decreased the system requirement during the battles.
- It could happen that the online GM list would not be up-to-date always. Fixed!
- From now on, you will be able to view the profile of another players if they are on a mount.
- If a quest has more than one parts, only the first part will be showed on the available quest list until you complete it.
- If a character does not have clan, clan tab will not be visible in its profile window.
- Zombie Monkeys dropped Key Stones sometimes. Fixed!
- You could get stuck in the Spider Dungeon between the wall and the grating.
- Sometimes, the Hiding skill of Ninjas did not expire after a teleportation. Fixed!
- Sometimes, you could not hit your opponents. Fixed!
- If a monster died, sometimes the selection did not disappeared. Fixed!
- Sometimes the players on Wu Zhein Run did not get reward because of a synchronization problem. Fixed!

New features:
- Help is available in the main menu which will inform you about the most important game mechanics.
- The Friends, Character and Inventory menu have got an own menu list with the most important functions and hotkeys.
- If you click on an NPC, the character will run to it and start interaction.
Modfications to enhance the game experience:
- The ambient noises are more atmospheric.
- We have started the optimization and modification of the quest system. In the first step, we have placed Garrisons on the WolfShaman, the WitchQueen, the Cursed Warlord, the Lost Empire and the Minotaur map. The Garrisons became the centre of the quest so you do not have to teleport between the Capital and the given map several times to complete the quests. At the moment, the quests are changed on the WolfShaman, the WithQueen and the Cursed Warlord map. The development of the quests will continue.
- From now on, you can give up the quests. You can see the ’Give up’ button on the quest scroll.
- The mobs became more intelligent and attacks the player more efficiently during chasing.
- The area of effect skills will attack a limited amount of opponents only.
- If you promote the leadership in a clan, from now on the system will ask a safety question.
- On the market place, you have to verify the buying and other actions to avoid the accidental events.
- When you teleport, a spectacular effect will appear around the character.
Fixings:
Skill Fixings:
- The attack values of the Black Attack appeared in wrong order. Fixed!
- The Doom Ring will calculate the values right from now on.
- We have changed the icon of the Reflection that it match to the skill.
- The buff icons could get stuck in the corner sometimes. Fixed!
Social Function Fixings:
- After a name change, there is a bug on the friend list and it displayed wrong. Fixed!
- It could happen that more players can be in a group than the allowed. Fixed!
- It could happen that even a player who was not the leader of the group could invite members to his/her group. Fixed!
- From now on, you can send only one group invitation at the same time.
Visual Fixings:
- Sometimes the upgrading window appeared in wrong form at the first opening. Fixed!
- We have fixed a location where you could run out of the Minotaur King Stronghold.
- From now on, on the map of the Spider Dungeon you can see where you can enter the BOSS.
Other Fixings:
- From now on, there will not appear more welcome screen at the same time.
- We have fixed a bug which appeared many times unnecessarily when a player try to start a run and he/she was not group leader.
- ’Command for the Patrols’ quest is fixed!
- The settings at the ’ Character Details’ option are temporarily not available.

• Players can view the profiles of other characters and customize their own profile. The profile is found in the selected character’s menu.
• There is a small new button on the minimap in game where you can see the list of the online Game Masters and you can write them immediately.
• The local map of the given area shows the available quests too.
• On the loading screen you can see tips, and an animation shows the loading too.
Modifications to enhance the game experience:
• The maximum number of the monsters on the Mino and Wu Zhein Run is limited (to decrease the lag).
• The setting of the selector menu on the local map is open by default.
• We made the welcome texts of the maps more informative and spectacular.
• The teleporter NPCs will welcome you from now on.
• The scrolls of the user interface have got a new appearance.
• On the Teleporter Place, the game will inform you about your possibilities.
• You can trade with the bonus adder and changer from now on.
Fixings:
• The News tab is available in the clan window again.
• On the list of the clan members, the online status will be showed correctly.
• Under the PM envelope the name of the given character will not appear with lower case letters only.
• The marks (?,!) above the NPCs’ head will always appear.
• could happen that a character who left the group will be teleported to the run with the group which was left behind. Fixed!
• We have fixed an error which caused the characters to slide duing dance.
• If a group member was offline, you can not complete quests. Fixed!
• It could happen that you can not see the bottom of the text in a window with scrollbar. Fixed!

• The Master, GrandMaster and Divine Armours will give power against Half-human again.
• You are able to add ‘HP bonus’ to an equipment which contains ‘HP bonus’ already.
• You are able to add ‘power against half-human’ to an equipment which contains ‘power against half-human’ already.
• From now on, you can block the clan invitations.
• The indication of an offline character is more highlighted from now on.
• The local map of the WolfShaman Forest shows the Woodcutter NPC from now on.
• The characters do not lose EXP on level 1 if they die.

Fixings:
- Quest Fixes:
• have fixed a bug where the text of the quest does not appear at the acceptation.
• The accepted quests will be grey.
• The quests which you can not complete anymore (e.g. the quests of the Quarantine Island), will not appear in the list of the available quests.
- Run Fixes:
• In the 4th stage of the Mino Run, you have to enter the correct number only once.
• It could occur that the gate at the 2nd stage of the Mino Run did not open. Fixed!
• If you gave up a boss fight, you could not enter to the boss again. Fixed!
• A group with 3 members can enter the Wu Zhein Run from now on.
• Sometimes a player could teleport to a boss hall of another players. Fixed!
• On the 3rd stage of the Mino Run, sometimes the opponent did not appear. Fixed!
- Bonus Calculation Fixes:
• The active buffs will affect the characters at the next time too when they log in (e.g. after a teleportation).
• We have fixed an error which grants to get more status points.
• The bonuses will take effect correctly at the first time too.
• The bonuses of the new stones modify the skills’ values correctly.
• The vitality bonuses did not affect the maximum life points. Fixed!
- Social Functions Fixes:
• More players could join into a group than the maximum number of the group members. Fixed!
• If you block the friend request, nobody can send you request from that point.
• The cursor will appear in the right window if you open the whisper window.
• On the GM characters, the client language will not appear, only their own language which they use in game.
- Visual Fixes
• We put the timer of the runs to another place where nothing covers it.
• We have fixed a visual bug on the Master and GrandMaster armours.
• We have lifted the sunk teleport gate in the Witch Queen’s Empire.
• The local map of the Lost Empire is updated.
• The local map of the Minotaur Map is updated.
• The NPCs will appear on the local map of the Quarantine Island from now on.
• We have fixed a bug where the Upgrade Window shows incorrect information.

• The chat window has been changed:
o Bigger font size.
o You can start to talk to a player by the button next to the character name in the chat window.
o You can see a small flag next to every record which show the client language of the given player.
Modfications to enhance the game experience:
• The Naga Palace map’s size is decreased significantly and we optimized the graphic there.
• The Capital became smaller. We cut the unnecessary parts that the server load will be smaller and you have to run much less for the quests.
• The Light Temple has got a more optimized grapic.
• The Spider Catacombs have got a more optimized graphic.
• The Wedding Map became more spectacular and intimate.
• If you write somebody in a PM and he/she is offline, the system message will appear in the PM window.
• In the chat window at the language selector, small flags show the languages.
• From now on, the Wu Zhein, the Minotaur and the Naga weapons will not get power against Half-humans anymore.
• At death, the characters will lose EXP if they revive in the place. If you revive at the teleport, you will not lose EXP. (At PvP you will not lose EXP if you die.)
• Sword Energy skill gives more attack value by 3 points.
Fixings:

New features:
• New item: Gender Changer Scroll. You can change the gender of your character with the help of it.
• Renewed Dragon Lord Arena.
• A small flag shows the users’ language above the characters head and in the PM window.
• In the Settings menu, you can set how you would like to see the information about the given character.
• A small heart shows if your spouse is online.
• The timer in the boss halls and on the runs changes in every seconds (instead of in every minutes).
• PM window is openable by Shift + Enter hotkeys.
• The Healing skill will target the owner character automatically if there is no valid target selected.
• If you are paging in the inventory, it will not be changed immediately to get rid of the annoying problems connected to it.
Modfications to enhance the game experience:
• If you selected a character or a mob, you can see a more spectacular or a more useful window above. You can customize it in the Settings menu.
• We decreased the power of the HP stealing bonus because on higher level it can break the balance.
• If you die, you will lose 1% EXP.
• The Naga monsters move faster.
• More spectacular Dragon Lord.
• The Bravery Cape can affect from longer distance.
Bug fixings:
• If you tried to start to go a newer boss fight or run immediately, you could be disconnected. Fixed!
• Order by item names on the Market Place is fixed.
• More refined animations during the wedding.
• It could be possible that a PM window opened unexpectedly and it disabled the focus from the current window.
• From now on, you can not talk in more chat windows to the same character.
• You can put the newest stones to the Market Place and they will appear in the „Misc” category.
• The attack value of the Flames skill will appear immediately in the skill info.
• We fixed a quest on level 29 which appeared wrongly.
• The time values of the skills will not appear in rounded form.
• From now on, you can not select the hiding ninjas.
• Bugs at the name change (at the market place, group, clan etc) are fixed.
• After the mino run, sometimes you would be teleported back to the Capital. Fixed! Now you will be teleported back to the NPC at the entrance.
• The Divine Weapons do not show +0 in the item name.
• In wisper after you push Enter, you did not started to write in the right window. Fixed!
• Ganda’s name does not contain +0 from now on.

Hello, we have not been able to publish an update for a long time. We have a very busy process, but we will continue to share snippets from time to time.
- 1.1.9 Dev Notes are really much bigger than we expected, so we plan to share them in the most transparent way soon.

- The selectable channel (CH) system in the old version has been removed.
The selectable channel system as Channel 1, Channel 2, Channel 3, Channel 4 on the input interface has been disabled because it tires the laniatus network base and listens to ports more than necessary.
- Automatic zone sampling and replication were added to the new system.
Automatic zone sampling replaces the deprecated selectable channel system. The working logic is as in the example; if a scene (game map) reaches the limit of players that can enter, the system automatically replicates the scene (game map) that has reached the player entry limit and allows new players to join. If the main game scene (game map) runs low on player capacity, the 2nd instance game scene created is automatically terminated and moved to the 1st instance in real time without players (loading screens) in the instance.
